Elizabeth’s family law practice includes litigation in court, negotiation and supporting our clients in matters that are in mediation and arbitration.
Elizabeth jointed our firm after practicing in criminal defense and family law in another Ontario law firm where she advocated for her clients at the Superior Court and Ontario Court of Justice. She advises clients in all matters relating to divorce and separation, parenting issues including decision making and residential schedules (we used to use the terms “custody” and “access” when discussing children but for good reasons we no longer use those labels), child support, spousal support, division of property and dealing with the matrimonial home.
When the lawyers at our firm have questions about the ways in which our clients’ family matters intersect with issues around criminal matters in Ontario we ask Elizabeth.
Elizabeth has been practicing family law since 2013 when she worked as a lawyer in Nigeria. Having worked in different jurisdictions, Elizabeth draws on best practices from all of her experience as a family lawyer and as a criminal defense lawyer to help our clients reach the best outcomes using the best processes for their unique family matters.
Elizabeth is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the Halton County Law Association.
